In Huntington, family-run Italian places are busiest on weekend evenings and around holidays, when reservations or call-ahead seating are worth it. BYOB is common at smaller restaurants in some states, with a modest corkage fee or none at all; the listing or a quick call will tell you. Wing-and-pizza shops across New York do most of their business by delivery and price wings by the piece or in fixed counts, with sauce heat adjustable on request. Catering trays, party pizzas and sheet pies need a day's notice at most places, and more around big game days.

Huntington is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Huntington is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Dog friendly. Self-serve, so you can buy as much as you want or nothing if youβre not hungry. The farm is small but enough for kids and dogs. We got the shepherdβs pie and a cherry pie. They were very good.

The girl at the counter was so sweet and helpful. I loved the ambiance and the food was great. I got their eggs on a biscuit with turkey bacon and their kerberry pie. So good. It was so nice sitting outdoors with the animals! Highly recommend this farm.

This farm is one of my absolute favorite places to start the day. The atmosphere is peaceful and welcoming, with beautiful surroundings that make it easy to relax and enjoy your time. Their coffee is always fresh and flavorful, and the breakfast options are consistently deliciousβsimple, hearty, and made with care. The staff are friendly and genuinely make you feel at home. Itβs the perfect spot to unwind, enjoy great food, and take in a bit of countryside charm. Highly recommend!

I canβt say enough about this place. Bacon egg and cheese biscuit is off the charts. Bacon is thick cut and the biscuit has a layer of cheese that is π€ The desserts are outstanding and truly special from the berry pies with the bits of crunchy sugary goodness on top to the sβmoreβs pie that was just the perfect combo. Our mother in law brought us some of the pot pies and assortments after my wife had our baby boy. I think the chicken pot pie was my favorite but the pulled pork is definitely a tasty treat as well. Thanks for making a warm comfort food for us when we needed it most. In 20 minutes with 0 prep hahaha. Appreciate you and your team. Also if you have kids come in the summertime just be patient they are busy because they are that good. Thereβs farm animals all over and we canβt wait to come there with our son as he gets older. From enjoying the food we love to introducing him to the classes as well.

This place is such a great family and friends spot. The coffee was perfect and the variety of cookies we tried were fresh - soft on the inside with a slight crunch on the outside. Inside is very nice with plenty of seating, but their outside area is where it's at! They have free range chickens and ducks as well as some goats and pigs - all beautifully landscaped as well. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because of the service. It wasn't about how busy is was in there or the wait time, but about how the staff was handling it - visibly stressed and not so friendly/warm and welcoming. That being said, I would still recommend this spot and would go back.
